Free Electronic Cigarette Trials and Scams
There have been many questions about electronic cigarettes and the possibility of scams from these trials. I have personally not tried one although i plan to order Direct E-Cigs and plan to do a post on it shortly after I receive them. Many people have actually emailed me stating their experiences with them and did like them. They realized they had to pay for shipping but other than that they did not feel it was a so called “Scam”.
If you know of anybody who has had experiences with Direct E-Cigs please tell us about your experiences, that information could be valuable to our readers. If you know of other electronic cigarettes that have done things that are not exactly ethical please let us know as well. My experiences with ordering and using electronic cigarettes like the Luci and SmokeStik and their cartridges have been positive so I can’t really complain about that. There were some articles and forum postings that discuss some potential scams but I could not find one that referred to Direct E-Cig as a scam.
The only products related to electronic cigarettes such as catridges, batteries, and atomizers I would avoid are the ones that are manufactured from China and possibly other countries. You should do the research on the company and if it has some type of REAL track record and history before ordering many electronic cigarettes.

BEWARE….. E-Direct is a scam. Read the fine print. If you don’t return the “free trial” kit in 14 days, you will be charged $99.95 to your debit card. If you use the kit and return it because it did not work for you, you will be charged a $10 restock fee, and you will be charged $7.50 for each filter you used. There is nothing free about it. It’s not a free trial if you have to pay to try it. There are no phone numbers to call for info, there is no email addy to write to. Once the $99.95 bill is deducted, you will find the number on your bill, in code. Don’t fall for this as I did. I have 3 friends that also tried E-Direct and they also got charged. We warned one person, they refused the shipment and were charged the $99.95 anyway. Once they have your debit, you are stuck. They have everything written very carefully and can legally continue to draw on your account. Do not give them your card number.

DON’T TRUST DIRECT E-GIG OFFER!!!!! It is not free, just a delayed charge!!! They don’t tell you the terms until after you place the order. I tried contacting them and was on a “please wait for the next available representative” loop for 40mins!!! I am currently talking with my Credit Card company and disputing the charge so at least they don’t charge me the additional $99.95 in 14 days!!! Can’t believe that they can get away with this!!!

I ordered trial from E-Cig.com. for $4.95,then received conformation call same day & canceled.
They still mailed package & I returned it un-opened.
Was then billed on credit card for two charges.One for $149.90 & another for $69.90. How can they get away with this?
I guess the best place to start will be the beginning. My job is starting a no smoking policy next year and i’ve been smoking since i was 16. I am now 48 and have no plans of stopping especially after being made to. It’s my right to smoke if i want to and guess what i want to. After hearing about e-cig i did some research on it. I found the chemical contents is much less than tobbaco products. Well i found in my research that direct e-cig seem to be a leader with this product in the USA and is offering a free trial for $10 bucks for shipping. So i ordered it. I was surprised that the company called me the next day to verify my order and what product would be best for me (I also think they were checking to see if i was of legal age). I ordered the full strength because any smoker knows lights can be to light like pulling on air. The order was process on Thursday i received my order on Saturday. The manual was a little unclear because it came assembled (not complaining). I wasn’t sure which product i have and still don’t, but i’m still getting use to it. Anyway after not finding a battery to install i tried to charge it. It charged in about an hour. I charged the e-cig atomizer (puffing on it) and took a deep pull. I tasted it i repeat i tasted it and blew smoke that i couldn’t smell. The smoke vanished quickly. I got dizzy from the nicotine. I may have to step down on the strength level. The point i am saying is i got a true nicotine high. Like you get from smoking your cigarette to fast. If i stop smoking so be it. This may be the way i do it. At least i can see that i could with it. Tommorow i’ll try no tabbaco for the day and keep my pack with me just in case.
